Exo Armour Legs Out of Stock.

As of now, there is no more stock of the Exo Armour Legs.

I will not be casting any more so if you didn't get any, then you won't be able to get any from me.

That said, I have had an offer for the original green so there is a likelihood that someone else will be casting them up in the future.

When I find out more, I will share it here.

Limited stock!

It has been a while since I last posted but I thought I'd let everyone know that there are only two sets of Exo legs left for sale and when they are gone, they are gone.

There are still plenty of Halfling Snipers available but depending how long it takes to shift them, they may not return once they have been sold. Demand will dictate whether I need to get them re-cast.

With that in mind... and with Christmas fast approaching, maybe now is the time to put on order in... or not... it's your choice.

Exo Armour Legs For Sale

Exo Armour Legs.

The Exo Armour Legs are now Out of Stock. They are no longer available as a set of FIVE (all the same pose) as shown (there will be no bases supplied with these legs):

They are designed to be used with the 'Tartaros' Terminator armour available from here (you will need to buy these separately in order to create your Exo armour):

When assembled, you should end up with something that looks a bit like this:

The Exo Armour Legs are made of resin so will need to be washed prior to painting preparation. They will also need a certain amount of clean-up so modelling skill will be required (so these are not recommended for those under 13 years old).

The casting process also reduced the size of the legs by a small amount, so you may need to make small adjustments to them in order for them to fit properly. I have already made up a set of Exo Armour with these legs so I know that they work. Here is what I made with them:

A set of five Exo Armour Legs Out of Stock and Out of Production.

For calculating shipping, these weigh about 25g. They will be sent as 'signed for, 1st class' and will be packed as a 'large letter'. They will be sent by Royal Mail and the prices for these services can be found here:

Remember to take into account that I will need to package them up so there will be the weight of packing materials that will vary so will affect postage costs.

NOTE - I will not send to Italy (due to bad experiences with the Italian postal system) but will send to most places around the world.

NOTE - I only accept Pay-Pal payments. No other option is available and if you try to ask about other options, I won't entertain the request.

If you would like to buy some of these Exo Armoured Legs, send an E-Mail to the following address, with your requirements and location in the world and I will respond as quickly as I can with a final price.

Another update - Snipers and Legs.

Hello again. Another update.

The Halfling Snipers will be available as a set of five for £12.50 (+ Postage). The Exo Armour Legs will be available as a set of five for £10.00 (+ Postage).

The Halfling Snipers will have 25mm slotta bases supplied as standard. The Exo Armour legs will NOT have bases supplied.

I have bought a lot of 'large letter' boxes to keep postage costs down but will always send out miniatures as 'signed for'.

I will send to countries outside of the UK (apart from Italy - I have sent many parcels there and NONE of them have ever arrived so I refuse to take the risk any more... unless a 'guaranteed' service is used and that would be extremely expensive) and postage will be at cost.

I will be absorbing the packaging costs so any postal charges will be at cost (Royal Mail).

I currently have 26 sets of snipers that are ready to be sold and I will be checking through the Exo Armour Legs to see how many I can sell.

At the moment, I will have to ask for patience from anyone wishing to purchase any of these because I have 'real life' commitments that are currently dominating my life; namely a family member who has terminal cancer. That means that I can't guarantee to get to the post office very regularly. as a result, I will notify people when I have posted stuff so that they can get an idea of how long they will have to wait.

I am hoping that I will be able to get things rolling next week (from Tuesday or Wednesday) so if you are after some snipers or Exo Armour Legs, then you shouldn't have to wait much longer now.

The other thing I wanted to cover was how you can buy them. I don't have a shop and don't want to use EBay so the process will be a bit long winded (apologies):

1 - You email me with your requirements and where you are in the world (email address will be posted next update).
2 - I send you a reply with cost, including postage.
3 - You send me a reply accepting the cost and providing your Pay-Pal address and your postal address (or telling me that you don't want to continue).
4 - I send you a Pay-Pal payment request.
5 - You pay.
6 - I send it out as quickly as I am able.

Because this is a very small scale operation, I won't be investing in a shop just yet... I need to see how things go first. If this is a roaring success, then I may take the plunge but it is early days yet.

That about sums things up.

I will post another update next week.

More sniper progress.

This week has seen a little more progress on the Halfling snipers.

Obviously, I have to start from scratch when it comes to getting my work onto the market at levels beyond a single miniature so I have purchased postal boxes, bubble wrap, plastic bases and am currently awaiting the arrival of some labels.

In addition, there is the need to display a product so that people can actually see what you are trying to sell. With this in mind, I have also ordered a light box so that I can try and get some better pictures put together.

I have also unpacked all of the miniatures for counting:

As you can see, there are 245 Halfling snipers (49 sets of 5) all ready to have a bit of a quality check. That means that one set has disappeared. That is because I couldn't resist getting some paint on some of them and I have painted up a set to show off (it will also be part of an army project that I have going on at the moment):

The picture above shows why I really need a decent light box to photograph my products. I have chosen the colours so that the bases contrast the camouflage so that you can see what the miniatures are like. Obviously, when given a decent base with colours that match the camouflage you chose, they will look far more appropriate.

Everything is getting closer to fruition so keep watching this space.

A small sniper update.

This Friday saw the arrival of my Sniper casts from Hysterical Games.

I have only checked one set of casts so far but the quality is exceptional. There was a small amount of 'fluff' on them (which I removed with a toothbrush) and barely any other clean up... out of all five miniatures, there was a tiny line on one boot and one rifle scope... which were both removed in seconds with a scrape of a scalpel.

I'd like to say a big thanks to Rob over at Hysterical Games for his excellent work and timely delivery.

Obviously, I need to go through all the casts but from what I have seen, the casting is fantastic and the details have been reproduced really well.

Here's the one that I checked:

That same set is the one that has now been cleaned up, washed in soapy water and based; ready to be primed and painted.

At the moment, life has thrown a bit of a curve ball at me (family illness) and there is likely to be a bit of a delay in getting these available to sell (for a start, I don't have boxes to send them out in, yet) but rest assured, I will get it sorted as soon as I am able.

Keep an eye out for more updates soon.

Monday 3 July 2017

A small beginning.

This is the first post for my new venture.

I have been sculpting for a long time and thought it was about time to try getting a few miniatures out there to share. I sculpt in the 28mm heroic size, so these miniatures should fit in with a lot of miniatures already on the market. Some of my sculpts will be components to fit in with existing ranges but mostly, I will try to put my complete sculpts out there.

So far, I don't have anything for sale but I am gearing up for it. In the pipeline are:

Components: Exo Armour legs (these are designed to fit on the GW Tartaros Pattern, Terminators in order to reduce them down to Space Dwarf size):

Miniatures: Ogre Sniper (Very Work in Progress at the moment):

As you can see, it's early days yet... and I haven't decided how to go about the process of selling yet but every journey starts with a single step.
